Plastics offer a Plastic Frabrication
service. Plastic fabrication
processes include: mechanical cutting, laser cutting,
line bending, drape moulding, bonding, welding, polishing,
heat treatment of plastics. Plastics include PVC
or Poly Vinyl Chloride plastic, PETG
(P.E.T.G.) or Polyethylene Terepthalate Glycol thermoplastic
sheet, acrylic plastics / plastic glass / Perspex
and Plexiglas.
Plastic machining processes include laser profiling,
routing milling, drilling, turning, laser engraving
of plastic such as acrylic. Acrylic plastic
half the weight of glass, is resistant to impact, is
not affected by salt or spray (hence it is good for
boat windows and hatches). Polycarbonate is stong and
robust, has good clarity, and can be machined,
formed, glued and
welded.
Chemical resistant plastics
like polyethylene, polypropylene and
PVC are made into tanks, cabinets, scrubbers, and vessels.
